Bakelite necklace, dating from circa 1920.
These impressive round shaped beads have a stunning
rich colour, exquisite marbling and an amazing translucency
in various lighting conditions. These exquisite beads have a
striking resonance of colour with the light passing through.The beautifully rounded shape of the beads reflects light beautifully,
wonderfully enhancing the dazzling richness and sparkle of the beads.
The beads are more uniquely strung together with
individual links of sparkling gold toned metal twisted to
form interlocking loops connecting the beads. The two ends
of the necklace join together with a concealed barrel clasp.This lovely strand are a beautiful example of quality
rich cherry amber bakelite, perfectly embodying all
of the style and elegance of the art deco period.
