Vintage Tiffany & Co. 26 Strand Turquoise Bead 16" Sterling Silver Necklace A unique vintage Tiffany & Co. piece that was never offered for sale. The family of the original owner informed us that the original owner worked for Tiffany & Co. and was allowed to keep this "sample" piece because Tiffany decided not to add it to their jewelry line. Perhaps too costly or time consuming to produce, or perhaps they weren't happy enough with the consistency of the turquoise beads. 26 strands of individu...ally knotted round ~4mm genuine natural turquoise beads on Tiffany blue color string. Strands range in length from 15" to 20". Interior diameter of necklace when clasp is closed is 16" Double signed Tiffany & Co. sterling silver clasp. Includes Tiffany & Co. blue box that the piece was found in. Fresh out of a local estate. Excellent vintage condition with little to no evidence of use.
