Eleven inch Made in Germany JDK (Kestner) 211 Sammy character baby doll. Original body, open mouth, tongue with no teeth, original pate and wig. Attic stored for years, he needs restringing..as he is very wobbly. Head looks excellent. I did not remove the original pate only the wig which was still lightly holding to old glue. I could not find or see any damage, chips or hairlines to the head. Body condition is good, there is a stain on his knee where an old pen had rested above a blank...et covering him so I assume it is ink.But cannot be sure. Fingers are a little worn, but not missing....other than that his body is very good with only minimal, very minor wear. Bisque head has lovely coloring and he has a very sweet face. Would be a great doll once restrung and properly dressed. Please note: Head will be carefully wrapped and protected and the doll will be packaged very securely. Sleep eyes will have a covering over them so they cannot rock.
