For your consideration is this antique CM Bergmann doll. She is 23" tall with bisque socket head and ball jointed composition body in very good to excellent condition. Head has no chips, cracks or repairs. There is an unpainted area on the back of her head, a factory flaw. Please see photo. She is marked Made In Germany, CM Bergmann. She has sleepy eyes that don't seem to close all the way and the mechanism is a little slowed at times. Doll is wearing a nice antique or vint...age dress, full slip, pantaloons, and socks. The dress has very faint age related yellowing in areas. It is lovely with no damage or repairs, but needs a closure at the back. The slip has a couple small tares that need mended and socks need mending at the seams. Slip and bloomers have draw string tie closures. Her wig is a replacement of synthetic fiber.
