Here is Ideal's Betty big Girl from the 1960's. She is 30" tall and has a hard plastic body and vinyl head. She will walk if you shift her weight from one leg to the other. She has a battery area in her back---it is clean, but doesn't have the inside cover, just the outside cover, so I don't know what the battery allowed her to do. Body is in nice condition, and she can stand alone. She is just darling as a little companion doll for a Patti Play Pal or other big... doll. Originally (from pictures) her hair was in side pony tails, but I think the hair has been cut and thus looks better with it down---maybe you could curl it, if you wish or put it in short pony tails. She has big open and close eyes and a most delightful smile on her adorable face. CLOTHES are original, but have problems---hole in blouse and skirt. And a few other smaller clothes problems due to age and type of fabric. Shoes are a little big for her, but complete her outfit. She certainly would make anyone smile back at her, as she "lights up a room" with her cheerful smile.
