Hello folks! I hope that everybody is staying home and staying well! Oh no! Doll shows have canceled. Estate sales are spotty right now! Many doll and antique shops are still closed. Doll shows and the UFDC convention have ended for the summer. I'm all bummed out. BUT..there's still Ebay! So what better thing to do than go shopping on eBay in the privacy of your own home? Hi doll friends! Today I'm selling this lovely litt...le 13" 1930's Ideal composition Shirley Temple doll in all original clothing. Please read carefully, so you understand condition. Shirley came to me as a complete dirty basket case. She's been strung, cleaned, her hair has been completely re-worked and recurled, Her green baby take a bow dress was salvageable, however, there is a few repaired holes, a few light stains even after washing, and no tag. Good news, she retains her original socks and shoes, no lifting, and Shirley has a charming little face. Great news, I haven't met a repainted Shirley that I like, and as time goes on, more and more of these dolls are stripped and repainted. This little gal is still original with her factory paint. She has crazing throughout, and a dot on the end of her nose. She is far from perfect. If you are looking for perfect crisp and mint, this is not the doll for you. Also, these composition dolls have really dumped in price, so it's a super time to buy. Mom's birthday? Your own treat? Christmas? I'm starting bidding at 59.00, because similar dolls in this condition seem to go for this price. Please let me know if you have questions!
