I can't find another one of these anywhere! Do you know who it's by?
Please let me know if you can ID it.
I think it's Scandinavian, like iittala, Pukeberg, Kosta, etc.
It's huge - 20cm wide x 6.5cm wide, weighing in at exactly 2.5kg.
Crystal content quality bright clear glass.
Intented as an ashtray, with three shallow subtle channels in the rim.
Vintage 1970s or so.
Smooth internal bowl, heavily textured outer surfaces - not bark textured, more irregular Brut...alist 3D criss-cross textured, if you know what I mean - typical of the era. See pics.
Stunning in the sun, a large statement bowl. Not signed.
Handmade, I would think, blown into a mould.
No chips, there is however an internal dink/impact mark underneath which is smooth in and out, but about 1cm long (pictured). And a smaller internal scar line in the rim area.
Will come by courier due to weight.
