This is a nice attractive antique doll with a bisque head and hands, and a white leather body, about 19" long and in good condition. I have no other clothes for her other than what she is wearing. Her eyes close when she lies down flat. I used to know what kind of doll she is and where she comes from but I've forgotten that information. On the back of her head, neck and upper back are incised marks and numbers, an "X" over a rectangle over "A 1776 M" over "(?) C...D 2 1/2 (??)". The (?) means the marks are indecipherable because the leather of her body covers up some of the info. Her arms are loosely attached at the shoulders and on one there is a piece of masking tape there (see photo).
