Antique German Doll With A Bisque Head, Composition Arms And Cardboard Body. A sweet 15.5" Very old German bisque head doll. Her socket head is incised; Made in Germany I 0. Her bisque has a small mark above her left ear that could possibly be a hairline. See picture. She has pretty blue glass sleep eyes, shapely painted lips, an open mouth with 5 upper teeth, and a chin dimple. She has a cardboard painted white torso body with paper mache or composition arms. She in good condition fo...r her age. She is missing 1 thumb and the other seems to have a small crack. She has a crack in her upper left leg. - please refer to the pictures. I was told her body was made during war time when supplies were scarce. She will come with her original gauze dress which is in very fragile condition. I will send it but I won’t put it on her. The dress was originally nailed to her body. Her socks are also original and still nailed on her. She has a beautiful face and will be even more beautiful with a new wig and dress.
