Up for your consideration is this sweet Vintage 1961 Madam Alexander "Lively Kitten". She is 14 inches. She has blonde strait short hair, and has blue eyes and chubby rosy cheeks. Her eyes are blue and open and shut. Her arms, legs and head are soft plastic and her torso is stuffed pillow like material. She has a wooden knob on her back and when you wind it her head slowly moves around. She has some discoloration on her legs where they have faded to white, but you can't see that when s...he is sitting up with her dress on. Her dress is blue with embroidered flowers on the front and the neckline and sleeves are trimmed in white lace, there is also a small hole in the front of the dress and some slight discoloration from age. She had a cloth diaper pinned on and also has little pink and white knitted socks. She has a tag on the back of her neck that says "Lively Kitten", and the back of her neck has Alexander 1961. Her blue dress has a Madam Alexander tag. Please feel free to email me with any questions, comments or tidbits of knowledge as I am no expert in dolls. This lovely girl came from my mother in laws estate and she was kept in a box in a smoke free home.
