Original Description:
This is the infamous "Rosalie"  Lebel bayonet . This is the long blade version , never modified M1886/93/16 bayonet with a straight blade (not bent like most) and steel scabbard. These are becoming harder and harder to find in this condition, most have been shortened due to the end breaking off, very few of the long blades still have the scabbards .This one is on good condition, no rust and no pitting on the blade,   this has the rare alloy handle, carbon steel blade. The num...ber stamped on the cross-guard..B21740..This bayonet has the re-moveable handle, it measures 25.5 inches with the blade at 20.5 inches..
