Unfortunately through the years, their little sleepers became stained, the buntings felted and stained, the ribbon separated from the sleepers and buntings, and the coverlet and pillow have seen better days. But, the sleepers and buntings do not have any holes, each baby has a diaper, two baby have vests and there are two receiving blankets. The undressed baby has splits in both legs and an arm.
I would hope a real doll lover would know what to do with these little charmers to bring out the best in them.
From what has been written on page 249 in The Blue Book of Dolls and Values, 14th edition, Jan Foulke, this type of doll was only manufactured in 1943 and there is no indication that they were marked. Everything mentioned in this listing is included even the The Blue Book of Dolls, 14th edition
I am not making any claim that they are Effanbee but I felt I needed to point out the similarities.
Thank you for look and don't hesitate to reach out with questions.
