A Valex 1963 Beatles postcard number V76.By 1963, there were four main pop postcard companies in the UK. All of them were interrelated
(formed by people who had been associated with one of the other companies), and all but one of
them were originally based in Blackpool.One of these was Valex, established by Jack Vale (see what he did there?) in the late 1950s. Valex
produced cards in several sizes, the smallest 5.5 x 3.5 inch size having the le...tter V in front of the
serial number, like this one, and being formatted as postcards on the reverse.Photographs of the band taken backstage at an unknown venue circa March 1963 by an unknown
photographer.
Some bumping to corners and superficial marks only really visible when held up to the light at a certain angle. Faint stain to back.
