This 100 oz Engelhard Silver Hand Poured Vintage Bar (5th Series, “P” Serial Prefix) is a part of the 5th Series variation, with a production of less th...an 1, 000. Engelhard bars are especially valued among collectors since they are no longer producing bullion. This limited P series, hand stamped with the “P” serial prefix to identify it as one of the few to be hand-poured, is especially rare. Although the 5th Edition bar appears to be cruder than earlier editions, this is only because these used cold casting molds that caused irregularities on the reverse and edges. This process did not affect the bar’s weight, and this silver bar is one of the few P Engelhard silver Hand Poured Bars.
