War WWII Fall of Singapore Aircraft Carrier ZUIKAKU MC Special Cancel dated 18th February 1942 KobeNote: 1) Cachet depicting Aircraft Carrier "Zuikaku", 2nd large Japanese Aircrafts Carrier, which took part in Pearl Harbor Attack on 8th December 1941. Sunk at the battle of Leyte, off Philippines on 25th October 19442) The postcard: issued in commemoration of launching of the aircraft carrier on 27th November 1939, built by Kawasaki Ship Building Co.3) Special Postmark:... cancelling Kinshi stamp in commemoration the fall of Singapore. Postmark was in use from 16th to 22nd February 1942 only.
