CIRCA: early 1900's
Ashcroft 300 psi steam pressure gauge. My Grandfather captained a steam powered ship during the World War. His ship was decommissioned. He had many tokens of his service in the Navy, and while this was one of them, we are not sure if this was from his ship. It's an interesting piece, and is housed in solid brass housing. I have no way of know if it is functional, or how to test it. It is in nice condition. Would benefit from a cleaning and polishing. It's overall diameter is about 10."
CONDITION REPORT: Good preowned/used cosmetic condition having typical signs of age/wear commensurate with its age. Dial glass should be replaced. Conventional, inexpensive, 1/8" thick glass available at any glass shop.
