This ribbon is a better choice because they are heavy ink cotton ribbons and are newly manufactured product on metal spools (not plastic). They will outlast any of the low priced nylon ribbon...s you see being sold on Ebay by 2 to 1, if not longer. Guaranteed to be fresh ribbon and not old stock.
