Makoto Kagoshima is a brilliant ceramist and extremely difficult to find in the United States. He only sells at Chariots on Fire in Los Angeles and in England, he sells at Eclectic Gallery. I was lucky to get this blue plate (and I have another one for sale as well) on one of my trips.
Chariots of Fire has one large plate of Makoto's currently for sale--just one blue platter--and it is $3780!!! Take advantage of this very rare opportunity! You'll see that his work is available... in Japan, but at much higher prices. I want these to have a great home. This plate have never been used as a plate. It has only been used as decoration and wall hangings. The metal contraption for wall hanging is also available on request. All the white spots on it are a natural part of the design.
