Here is a very nice Rookwood Pottery wax matte vase by Katherine Jones. It has a bullet shape with a floral design around the rim and is glazed in richly curdled blue and green with dark blue outlines and blue flowers with yellow centers. It measures 6 1/2 inches tall and 3 1/8 inches in diameter at the widest. It's in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. Marks include the firms die-stamped RP mark, XXVI for 1926, KJ for the artist and shap...e number 1871. A good colorful example of decorated Rookwood Arts & Crafts ceramics.
