I have an original NIRVANA Nevermind CD insert signed by Kurt Cobain with a COA with a rating of 10 and also a green light from a London based collectible authenticator. Autograph was got in person at the November 29th, 1993 concert in Atlanta Ga. at the Omni on the In Utero tour. The last concert that Kurt played in Atlanta. Nirvana played a concert in Athens Ga. the night before. The autograph was attained after their set concluded backstage while Kurt was walking to the tour bus or ...dressing room. He came off stage and immediately split away from Krist and Dave and was alone aside from three or four people around him one being someone from a local radio station. I was there by invitation from another somewhat big local musician that my dad knew through his company. I have had the pleasure of having this hanging on my walls for a long time and have had countless conversations over it and the telling of the story of getting it. Todays generations somewhat do not understand that yes, while they were a big band at the time, there was also so much going on at the time with music. And you definitely heard more about Nirvana after the tragic and untimely death of Kurt than you heard before. There were a lot of bands coming out at the time and a lot of people trying to find their own way into the music world. We really didn't look at people as huge rock stars. If you will remember (people around my age) at the time we all thought that becoming a "rock star" was somewhat attainable. It was happening for so many people and bands. Especially bands from the northwest. So, I think it is time for someone else to enjoy this piece of history as my family and i have for so many years. And while I know the authenticity of this autograph, I obtained a COA for the next owner. Thank You
