Brooklyn, New York Civil War Veterans Service Medal.  Bronze, 46 X 33mm.  Ornate planchet.  Obverse: Soldier holding rifle in beaded oval with legend PRESENTed BY THE CITY OF BROOKLYN * TO ONE OF ITS VETERANS *.  Reverse: Seal of Brooklyn, the Goddess Justice holding fasces with the motto EEN DRAGHT MACKT MAGHT (Unity Makes Strength) in old Dutch on ribbon above.  Original ribbon and header is missing.  Condition: EXTREMELY FINE. ...r>
