He used it once, emptied the ink, cleaned it and stored it in a closet ever since. · It was made in West Germany which is marked on the ring attached to the clip. · This pen comes with the original Handcrafted Au 585 / 14K Gold nib with Rhodium-plated inlay. · It comes with the original gift box, case and the owner’s instruction manual and International Warranty Certificate.· It has a piston mechanism for easy refill of ink in the pen.· The pen body is made of black precious resin inlaid with the Montblanc star emblem on the top.· There are 5 gold plated rings around the body of the pen. The large middle ring is incised with the Montblanc name and the Model number #146. The clip, which is also gold plated, is attached to the upper ring. · The serial number of this pen is incised on the uppermost ring:#FB 108389 Condition:· This fountain pen is in Near Mint Condition. · There are no flaws or damage.
