This item is a Green Glazed Dog Food Bowl Manufactured by the McCoy Pottery Company from Roseville, Ohio. The bowl has the typical crazing lines in the glaze. The bottom is beautifully marked with the McCoy logo along with MADE IN USA as seen in the photos. This McCoy dog bowl is 2-1/2" tall and 7-1/2 inches in diameter. There are a couple of factory flaws which can be seen in the photos. A couple of bubles were formed in the mold on the word MAN'S leaving some voids, but they were glazed and the bowl was sold. Another error in manufacturing is on the bottom rim which is a small void in the inside edge at the bottom when looking at the logo.Be sure to take a look at all the photos of the lamp as they are part of the description.
These glass items were manufactured at a time in history when quality control was not at its height. Many of these items can have flaws which are original to the piece and are not considered damage. These flaws can be straw marks in glass, chipping caused from the grinding process when finishing edges, variations in color, variations in thickness and uniformity, etc. Thanks and good luck bidding. Condition Overall: The green glazed McCoy dog Bowl is in factory finished condition as noted. Color: Green glaze over stoneware as shown. Paint: No paint or stain on this example. Brass: No brass on this example. Soil: This item has shelf dust on it and it has not been cleaned. That will be left up to the high bidder. Shipping Shipping is to be paid by the buyer. Shipping charges will be officially quoted after the items are packaged in a box at the end of the auction. The shipping estimate provided in this auction can change. Shipping costs are quoted for Priority Mail on most items. I wrap and box the items as securely as I can. I never charge a handling fee and there are never any hidden charges.
