IROQUOIS ~ Vintage Flameproof Porcelain 88 Oz. PITCHER w/LID (Lazy Daisy, Ben Seibel) ~ USADescription of item...Here we have a beautiful and vintage fine quality (Flameproof) porcelain tall PITCHER with LID, designed by Ben Seibel for IROQUOIS USA from the Informal Series in the "Lazy Daisy" pattern displaying stylized blue and yellow daisies on a white background along with a yellow lid. It measures approx. 12" handle side tall x 7-1/2" long (from spout to handle) x 5-...1/2" in base diameter, can hold up to 88 ounces or 2-3/4 quarts. It is in excellent maintained (barely/hardly used) condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing, no damage noted. The bottom is marked, "Informal ~ TRUE FINE CHINA BY Iroquois ~ A Ben Seibel DESIGN ~ FLAMEPROOF FOR COOKING ~ made in U.S.A." Came from a well cared for private home collection of many years (in storage), however the exact age is unknown, production run 1958-1968. This item weighs approx. 3-3/4 lbs., add 3-1/4 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased. I currently have other matching Iroquois China "Lazy Daisy" pieces on auction.
