Here's an elegant hand painted charger plate with a still life of a quail on a board about to be prepared with onions, vegetables and fruits by Nippon. The painting is largely vellum but with gloss elements, particularly to the bird and fruit. There are two holes on the backside for wall hanging. The plate measures 12 inches in diameter and 1¼ inches deep. It weighs almost 2 pounds before packaging.
It is marked as shown. There are some minor scratches a...nd a bit of wear to the painting. Also, there is a line on the backside that does not go through at the edge or to the front, so I think it's a craze, but it could be a hairline. Otherwise, the plate is in very nice condition with no chips, nicks or damage. Please see pictures. Please read thedescription carefully and review all pictures as they are a part of thedescription.
