Original World War One (WWI, WW1) "WELCOME HOME", "THE BOYS WHO MADE GOOD" Pennant
Up for auction is an original, unmodified felt pennant to welcome home soldiers from World War One. It's in excellent condition; no rips and not faded. Colors are vibrant. Pictured holding a large American flag is a doughboy holding up a German helmet (pickel halb). Above the flag is printed "THE BOYS WHO MADE GOOD". Next to the flag is printed "WELCOME HOME".
Or...iginal felt ties attach the pennant to a 36-1/2 inch, nearly 1/2 inch thick pole. The pole is covered with a flag-motif printed paper. The paper is cracked but intact. The pole has a red know at its top. See photos for all dimensions.
