Antique J & G Meakin Hanley England White Ironstone Octagonal 9 1/2" PitcherNice piece of English ironstone. Measures about about 9 1/2" tall (measured from bottom to top of spout) and about 9"wide (from spout to edge of handle). Has black 'Meakin' stamp on the bottom. The shape of this pitcher is unusual, rectangular shaped, but also has 'corners' that makes it have 8 sides. Has a couple of small brown discoloration.../spots near the spout (do not detract, have to look closely to see them). Otherwise, EXCELLENT CONDITION-no chips, cracks, or restoration!
