RETIRED DISNEYLAND DATED 2003 PRESSED PENNY!! CA0042Lucky for you, I'm going through a few old tubs of Disney items!! This Disneyland Resort retired penny features the villain crocodile, Tic Tock, from Peter Pan. It is stamped 2003 at the top. First on stage April 4, 2003 and taken off stage or retired February 1, 2004. It is pressed on a post 1983 penny which is copper plated zinc. When pressed, zinc cents can show "streaks" or silver smearing (see Pic) that shows through t...he copper plating. Pre 1982 pennies are solid copper pennies resulting in a better quality and longer lasting shine.
