Interesting pair World War II vmail items. One from 1944 is a microfilm print of a letter from APO 88 New York City; with postmark and censor marking showing on print; letter requests candy or chocolate. APO 88 started in Algeria and later moved to Italy, then Trieste. Cover with US Postal Service No. 1 machine cancel. 1945 printed vmail form has APO 636 postmark from November 1945, after the end of the war. Tear at top and bottom; folds out with pri...nted notice to not send additional mail to the address; he'll advise when mail is to be resumed; he can't do now for "military reasons".
