Antique Vintage Cast Iron Brass Porcelain Marble Platform Balance Scale Grams

Unmarked as to Manufacturer. Working scale with what I believe to be porcelain plates. At one time I thought marble, but the lack of color differentiation make me think porcelain or some other ceramic material.
I set it up on a wobbly (probably not level) card table and tried it with a camera (not included) and a weight (not included). I determined the camera was 513.5 grams. Actual weight was 512 grams. On a level rigid surface I am confident I... could determine weights to 0.5 grams and possibly to .1 grams where the limit of the scale is.
One of the platforms is askew. It appears to be adjustable by turning it's screw thread or possibly by the screws attaching it to the ring. It didn't turn easily, so I left it alone. If I wanted to fix it, I would probably use some penetrating oil and/or possibly some heat to avoid breaking things.
There is a little paint splattered on the base.
Platforms are just under 6" square. Total height is about 6". If the platforms were square the edge to edge distance would be about 14"
Overall weight of the scale is 6 pounds 10 ounces.
Yeah, I know weird discussing a gram scale with English measurements.
I kept it for decades as it is and when someone asked why the platform was askew, I just made up whatever story that sounded good at the time. I think a couple of people might have asked twice, probably to see, if they heard the same story.
