The listing is for the Vintage Amateur Athletic Union Medal & Ribbon AAU 1962 Swimming Free Style 100 YD Sp...orts Award Medallion Retro item pictured only.This pre-owned metal medal is as found.The medal has a manufacture's mark Herff Jones, it does not have a metal fineness mark.This gold tone metal medal is highlighted by raised and recessed design.It has a red, white, and blue ribbon with clasp.The obverse features the relief of a victory goddess with the Amateur Athletic Union AAU shield logo emblem and the representation of a swimmer.It states Age Group Swiming, the reverse states 1962 50 YD Back Stroke 1ST.This medal is approximately 3 1/4 inches.
