This is a vintage 1973 Barbie vanity case. It is pink and white and has the working hair dryer, 4 curlers, 1 white ribbon and 1 pink ribbon, cup and small doll comb. The inside ...label that says to make sure all items are dry before closing is loose and I have placed it underneath the ribbons. The clasp does works with no problems, however there is some rusting on the part that you lift to open and close. Please see my video of the hair dryer working. It runs on D cell batteries. Batteries not included. The battery lid pops up very easily when the batteries are in there. Might want to put just a bit of tape to hold closed.

Item is used and has some rust on the metal trim and clasp. The outside of the hard case is stained, the inside has some staining and yellowing but not much. The section that holds the curlers has a tiny crack in one corner. The cup does have some staining on the outside. The ribbons appear to not be stained. The little comb does have some staining. The case handle has some staining on it. The mirror has some specks and streaks. The box that holds the batteries does not stay shut well, or perhaps I was just moving to far away from it. I really think the batteries are pushing it open. Please see my video for a demonstration of the hair dryer. Batteries are not included.
It can be difficult to get great photos of the actual colors of items. For reference my back ground is white poster board.
