For sale is a 1983 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date Ref.16800 matte dial men divers watch with original guarantee paper, 100% Rolex made, serial number is 8392XXX, comes with original guarantee paper & booklets, the watch size is approximately 40mm in diameter (without crown), 44mm (with crown), and 47mm from top to bottom, below is a brief description:
Case = original stainless steel brushed case body has some usage sc...ratches and wear throughout, very thick throughout, no rust or corrosion, both numbers are clearly visible between lugs
Caseback = original caseback has some scratches, no rust or corrosion
Crystal = original sapphire cyclope crystal is clean
Dial = original black matte dial is clean without any wear whatsoever on surface (see pictures), factory tritium markers had aged to an even yellowish patina, all writing is clear and visible, SWISS T < 25 at bottom
Hands = original steel hands are well worn with matching patina, works correctly
Bezel = black thin font divers bezel is clean, works well
Movement = original Rolex-signed Cal. 3035 automatic winding movement is in running condition, not gauarantee waterproof or accuracy, has not been serviced before.
Crown = original Rolex-signed triple-lock stainless steel screw-down crown is good, can wind and set time
Band = comes with a Rolex 93150 heavy oyster fliplock bracelet with 593 end-pieces, clean with minor stretching, with 12 links, clasp code is .
