Click images to enlarge Description A beautifully-made top quality watch that looks simply gorgeous on the wrist - This is a pre-owned c2008 IWC Portugieser Chrono 41mm Automatic Gents Watch, Ref:IW371401, with original IWC black alligator leather two-piece strap and IWC buckle.
It has a silvered dial with contrasting rose gold applied numerals and rose gold hour and minute hands with matching rose gold running seconds hand in the lower sub-dial. The classic blue steel chronograph centre seconds hand extends all the way to the outer seconds ring for accurate timing to within a quarter of a second. The upper sub-dial is the elapsed minutes counter with matching blue steel hand.
It is housed within the 41mm steel case which has a narrow polished bezel which really maximises the size of the dial and gives this watch a large presence on the wrist. It also wears very comfortably and the ergonomically-shaped lugs really do a great job of contouring around the curves of the wrist. Everything about this watch exudes classic styling and class.

This watch is pre-owned and shows some signs of wear, most particularly to the strap, but overall it is superb condition and still looks great on the wrist today. IWC have faithfully kept the size and classic styling for the current range of Portugieser Chronos on sale today and the list price for the current model (in the same silvered dial/rose gold hands) configuration is £7050.00.
The automatic IWC Calibre 79240 movement has been tested prior to listing and is in superlative working order. It is running to a very impressive accuracy within 1 second per day and is showing a healthy amplitude reading of 270.
