Tag Heuer Vintage Monaco 75th Steve McQueen
Item History & Price
Steve McQueen insisted the wardrobe department have every detail of his driving suit correct... for production of the film. The solution was that production "procured" Swiss driver Jo Siffert's driving suit, right down to his Monaco Chronograph Wristwatch.
This cinematic moment reshaped the history of watch making. Steve McQueen putting on that suit and wearing that Monaco Chronograph on his wrist 50 years ago, created this flawless, limited edition, collectors watch listed on these pages . This watch has never been on anyone's wrist. It is still in the original box, in the original bag, with the original paperwork, proving it's provenance for any discerning collector. No chips, no nicks, no impressions, no wear of any kind. . . .no excuses.
The beautiful blue, alligator wrist band is flawless, the time piece is perfection, even the warrantee card remains unfettered. This is number 1547 of only 4000 limited pieces. This watch was purchased at Ben Bridge in December 26, 2006. This time piece, time capsule is 14 years old, yet every part of this package shows as new. The TAG Heuer Vintage Monaco has a true cult following, and it is well earned.
