To celebrate actor/race car enthusiasts Steve McQueen's 75th birthday, TAG Heuer launched the Monaco Vintage Limited Edition. This was a new version of it's world renowned big, square faced time piece. This Vintage Edition sports a stunning white dial with red, blue and white bands; paying homage to the driving suit that the famous actor wore in the iconic film classic of 1970, Lemans.
Steve McQueen insisted the wardrobe department have every detail of his driving suit correct... for production of the film. The solution was that production "procured" Swiss driver Jo Siffert's driving suit, right down to his Monaco Chronograph Wristwatch.
This cinematic moment reshaped the history of watch making. Steve McQueen putting on that suit and wearing that Monaco Chronograph on his wrist 50 years ago, created this flawless, limited edition, collectors watch listed on these pages .
