Automatic Omega 2500 Co-Axial movement running with no known issues. Currently running within COSC time -4/+6 seconds per 24 hours with excellent amplitude.
Watch was serviced on 7/20/2020 by a professional watchmaker. 6 month warranty included to the original purchaser from me. (This warranty means that in the period of 6 months from purchase date...if the watch stops working or begins running significantly out of time, you can return the watch to me and I will have the watchmaker adjust or service the movement again. If anyone else attempts to work on this watch, the warranty is void.)
A "service" means the watchmaker completely overhauls the movement (complete disassembly, clean, oil, and adjust). The watch is mildly refinished, but may still have some blemishes as seen and described below. This is NOT a complete watch overhaul. There is NO pressure test performed, but the watch is submerged in 6" of water while cleaning with no issues.
New hand set was installed during servicing and I had the watchmaker swap the second hand from one from the 8500 movement series so the lume is blue as I wanted just a touch of customization, but keep it subtle!!
Comes with OEM Omega 1580/952 stainless steel bracelet with 13 full links - measures approx. 8.25" with one end installed on the watch head and laid flat for measurement.
Watch comes with white Omega outer box, red Omega inner box, large red Omega Operating Instruction book, white Omega card holder/sleeve, red Omega Warranty Card (stamped and completed by Authorized Dealer for 2009 purchase date!), and service documentation. Watch is guaranteed authentic! Watch has clearly visible 80 million serial number on the case and movement.
Condition - Bezel is very nice with some light scratches between the 50 and 55 minute markers. There is no bare metal showing to my eyes and the watch presents lovely on the wrist but these marks are quite noticeable under close inspection. Crystal is scratch free. I see no marks in the outer layer of AR (anti-reflective coating) to my eyes. Case is near mint with minor marks on the sides and polished lugs. Case has been professionally (lightly) refinished to Omega specifications. All finishes are correct and case lines are crisp.
Bracelet is near mint with light scratches on the clasp and a few links. Bracelet has been professionally (lightly) refinished to correct Omega finishes.
There will be no surprises. All wear marks can be seen in the pictures.
