This is an original antique Nippon Morimura Brothers hand-painted 8.25" vase with a lovely lake scene featuring a cottage, trees, birds, and a purple/yellow sky along a lake. The two handles have gold-colored paint; as you can see in my photos, this gold paint has worn a little over the decades. Some white specks on the lake scene and some dark spots on the rim and inside of the vase were baked into the glaze during production and are likely unable to be removed; these can be seen in m...y main photo and final photo. While the inside of the vase is glossy, the outside has a lovely matte finish.
