A nice lot of 4 dinner plates from Spode in England. These are in the Woodland pattern and each depicts a different game bird. Included are: quail, pintail duck, mallard and pheasant. The mallard and pintail plates are in trouble free condition while the quail plate has a 1/4" chip at about the 9 o'clock position and the pintail has 2 chips each about 1/4". One at about 2 o'clock and one at 6 o'clock. The plates measure 10-3/4" across the rim. They have a lovely floral pattern around t...he rim and the woodland scene with the birds in the center. These will be a fine addition to your collection.
