Grand Seiko SBGX263 High Accuracy Quartz Movement Men ' S Watch - Silver
Item History & Price
Purchased from an Authorized Dealer in June 2019, the watch has light wear in the form of small marks on the metal of the case, bezel, and strap. All of these could be buffed out quickly by a watchmaker or jeweler. The crystal is unmarked. I’ve done my best to represent this in the photo section. https://www.grand-seiko.com/uk-en/collections/SBGX263GThe movement is a high accuracy Gran...d Seiko 9F62 quartz. This isn’t a normal quartz movement.Regarding the movement, from the Grand Seiko Site:“Precision and simplicity form the very essence of the ideal timepiece, allowing it to fulfill a lifetime of commitment to its wearer. 9F was the first quartz movement to achieve this fundamental ideal. The Instant Date Change Mechanism changes the date display in the blink of an eye.Torque comparable to that of a mechanical movement makes the iconic wide hands of Grand Seiko possible.Improved second hand precision achieves greater positional accuracy on the dial against the markers. The sealed structure improves retention of lubricating oils.Caliber 9F redefines the quartz watch, delivering higher performance and greater durability. It is the quartz watch that merits the name Grand Seiko.”Included with the purchase is a lightly used tan calfskin Hirsch Navigator strap with deployment clasp ($129 new).
The warranty book shows an activation date of 6/11/2019, and the book states that the three year limited warranty is transferable. A wonderful watch, but the collection has grown a bit too large. Please feel free to send any questions. I’ll be happy to answer them to the best of my ability.
