Up for sale is my 1960s Paul Le Grande Alsta Nautoscaph 999ft Skin Diver made famous by Richard Dreyfus’s character in the movie Jaws. This watch has been in my collection for a few years now and I am selling to fund another piece. I am an avid watch collector and listing a handful of watches, please see my other listings.The watch is currently working including winding and setting fine, the watch has run for the day and kept good time, total accuracy and duration cannot be guarantee...d. Service history is unknown.Case: all steel measuring around 36.5mm across not including the screw down crown by 46mm lug to lug. The case has normal wear for the age, there is some scratches on the case back. Please see all photos for detail.The faded all steel bezel is bidirectional rotating very smoothly in both directions. The gloss black dial has aged well, there is patina throughout.The crown is screw down working as it should, the crown sets and winds the watch, the date is non quick set. The date works as it should. The watch runs on a 17 jewel automatic movement, service history is unknown.The watch will come on the brown leather strap pictured in the photos, it is used but still has a lot of life left. There are scratches to the case, bezel and crystal but nothing out of the ordinary for a 50+ year old watch. Please see all photos as they are a major part of the description.
