The movement, manufactured by the Timing and Repeating Watch Company, does not currently run as the mainspring seems to slip. The balance is free and tries to run if the watch is wound. The watch features a rattrapante split seconds chronograph mechanism. The operating lever located near the winding post does function and engages the chronograph, but as the watch does not run I can't guarantee functionality of the mechanism itself. The split seconds hand seems t...o be loose and does no return with the other seconds hand as it should. The movement is in good cosmetic condition showing some minor discoloration and light scratches. Movement is marked as having English patent number 3224 and has the serial number of 22414. The white enamel dial, signed Timing & Repeating Watch Co. Geneva, is in good condition with a hairline extending from the seconds sub dial out towards 4 o'clock. The blued steel moon hands and the blued steel seconds hands are in good condition showing no significant damage. The dial features a seconds chapter ring on the outer edge of the dial as the split seconds chronograph register. Movement is being sold as is for parts or repair. Please review all photos carefully.
