This excellent 992B movement is in top-notch working order, with a d...ead flat and true balance wheel that has a wide, fine arc and a strong, steady beat. The movement is a smooth wind, starts up with a single flick of the wrist (992Bs are notoriously stiff starters), and lever sets as designed. The movement holds time well within the railroad-required 30 seconds per week after careful and prolonged timing and regulating before dis-assembly. With respect to appearance this movement is looking great, with a high degree of polish, no tarnish, no stains or fading, absolutely no jeweler's marks or toolmarks, correct and spotless regulator needle and whip, 100% of the original black inlaid engraving paint intact, complete, original, correct and running strong and true holding railroad time!!
