H. A. C 1920/30s Oak Case Chiming Mantel Clock For Restoration
Item History & Price
A large domed H.A.C 1920/30s Oak Case, 8 day Chiming bracket, mantel Clock listed for restoration or spares I am assuming one of the mainsprings has gone as there is no tension when wound up the clock measures 111/2" at its highest and is 9" in length and 5!1/2" deep at its base, set on bun feet the oak domed case has decorative beading I am guessing it has been a presentation clock as there is a darker rectangle of oak below the dial where the plaque would have one been attached elsew...here the large silvered 7" dial displays Roman numerals, to the centre the crossed arrows H.A.C trademark and to the base, made in Wurttenberg, to the left of the dial a switch to have the chime on or on silent internally the movement is again stamped and comes with its pendulum but there is no key please have a look at all the photographs and see what you think please note that the clock is being sold for restoration or spares, if you have any questions or require further photographs please e-mail me.
