16 Size 17 Jewel Swiss Hunting Case Pocket Watch For Repair

This is a 16 size Swiss 17 jewel hunting case pocket watch for repair. The movement is Swiss, but the case is made in England. The watch is not running and is being sold for repair. The balance is good and oscillates freely. There is no visible rust or corrosion on the movement. The crown turns freely and does not set or wind the watch. The case just has brassing on the bow and a little bit on the pendant. The case spring does not push ...the lid up when released. The movement is marked Ref. 998, but has no name on it. The dial & hands are in very nice condition. Please see pictures for description.
