Circa: 1907.THANK YOU for considering our museum grade, near perfect cosmetics, strong running and dead accurate early style collectible Hamilton (unmarked) Grade 992, 16 size, open face, 21 jewels, Model 1, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, double roller, Motor barrel, sapphire pallet jewels, ruby and sapphire jewel material, Breguet hairspring, two-screw crown wheel, 4-post, raised and cupped gold jewel settings, gold mean balance screws, ¾... nickel plate, stem wind, lever set, railroad-grade movement. This fine Model One 992 railroad grade movement is in excellent working order, with a dead flat and true balance wheel motion that has a fine, wide arc and strong, steady beat. The movement is a smooth wind, starts right up on my 4th wind with no added effort, and lever sets as designed. The movement holds time far inside 30 seconds per week face-up after careful hand regulating and before dis-assembly. As for appearance this movement is looking terrific, with nice, 100% tarnish-free, bright and clean early style engraved winding wheels, shiny bright and clean nickel plates with the elaborate First Pattern damascene and all of the fine original gilt inlaid engraving paint intact, pristine and correct smallest "Reed" regulator needle and whip, very clean looking inside, around the sides and in front, and reeling and rocking keeping railroad time!! The movement does show very slight and ordinary wear only with no abuse. It will be a great acquisition for the lucky top bidder!
