Serial Number: 887084. Circa: 1894.THANK YOU for considering our pristine bright and clean, strong running, scarce and collectible condition "Dueber Watch Co." Hampden 18 size, open face, 15 jewels, Model 3, Grade No. 1, cupped gold jewel settings, full nickel plate, stem wind, lever set fancy dress movement with its original dial and hands. This fine antique Dueber Hampden movement is in excellent working order, with a dead flat and true balance wheel motion that has a fine, wide arc ...and strong, steady beat. The movement is a smooth wind, starts right up on a dime with no twist, and lever sets as designed. The movement holds excellent time but is just in and has not been further regulated or adjusted! Appearance-wise this movement is looking great, with sparkling bright and clean 100% toolmark-free full nickel plates with all of the original black inlaid engraving paint intact, clean and correct sidecar patented screw micrometer regulator needle and index, spotless looking down inside and around the sides, and ripping and running strong and true!! The movement does show very minor and ordinary wear with no signs of abuse! The dial is its correct original single sunk enamle triple-chapter Roman numeral style in superb condition, and the hands are matching likely also original Breguet or "moon" matching blue in excellent condition as well. There isn't much known about these old Dueber Hampdens and this one will be a great acquisition for the lucky top bidder!
