Antique Red Wing Washington State WA Advertising Stoneware Fruit Jar Quart Size. In very good antique condition. A few small chips on the base but no cracks or other issues. A very attractive and rare advertising jar from The Huntley Merc. Co., a general store in the tiny SE Washington town of St. John. Near the Idaho state line. Jar is NOT marked Red Wing but is identical to the Red Wing Union Stoneware marked quart jar and is in keeping with other presumed Red wing advertising jars I... have seen. Black stenciling is the same as used on standard marked Union Stoneware Red Wing jars. Dimensions are 6 1/2' high and 4 1/2' wide. Lids are not included. I have 2 of these jars and will list the other one soon. Let me know if interested and I can list that one right away as well.
