WWII US Navy Officer ' S Uniform - Jacket & Pants - Gray - Green - Lt Jg - 3 Service Ribbons

Offered is this vintage US Navy officer's uniform with both jacket and pants. The jacket has the shoulder and sleeve insignia of a lieutenant junior grade. I believe this greenish-gray uniform dates to World War II or possibly the Korean War. It is decorated with three service ribbons: the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, the American Campaign Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. The first two are from World War II, while the last began during the Korean War and continued to Vi...etnam and beyond. Neither the jacket or pants are marked, but the buttons were made by the Waterbury Button Co. of Connecticut.
Both the jacket and pants are in very good condition for their age. I see no holes or other damage to the cloth and the cloth is generally clean. One of the back pieces is missing from the ribbon bar and one of the buttons is detached, but present (it is just sitting in place in the photo). There is no size information on either jacket or pants, but I measure the pants length as 28" from crotch to leg bottom. I wear a 36" waist and when I try to put these pants on they are at least 4" too small so I estimate them to be 30" or possibly 32". I would only be guessing on the jacket size but it is far too small for me-I am about 5' 9" and 195 lbs.
The pants really are the same color as the jacket, but the pants photos were taken indoors. Note the main photo where both jacket and pants are seen together.
The hanger is not included.
