We have a vintage 1950's teapot with lid. Made by Beauceware Potteries Canada. This mid-century designed teapot is larger in size (8 cups). Made from an artist designed mold, and fired in kiln with a thick harvest style glaze. The reposing colors are unique and one of a kind on each piece of Beauceware.
Clean, no stains or odor. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines, or glaze loss. There is crazing throughout the base and sides, inside and o...ut (see all photos). The spout and handle are secure and no signs of heavy use. We will say this was used, only because of it's age and the crazing.
A really nice collector find, or, an eclectic piece for display or service.
