Description: Here is a very nicely designed ladies ring made in solid 14k yellow gold featuring an approx. 1.40ct natural blue sapphire. The oval cut stone is set east-west on the finger, accented with approx. 1/2ctw of fine round brilliant diamonds including a romantic heart motif on the gallery. Has a terrific gold weight with a heavy Euro shank for balance.

Approx. Size or Length: Approx. 5-1/2 to 5-3/4, due to the sizing beads this is the closest estimation I can make of the size. Please note: sizing beads can easily be removed or altered by any jeweler

Condition: Seen only with 10x magnification the sapphire has a couple of minute surface abrasions on the facet junctions (very minimal), diamonds look fine. Gold setting shows only some light surface wear that a quick buff from a jeweler would remedy.

Additional Info: 95% of all corundum (sapphire & ruby) is low heat treated to improve color and clarity. It is usually done to the gem rough before leaving the country of origin and before the stones have been cut and polished. This practice has been done for centuries and is considered common practice in the gem industry. Only gemological testing can determine whether a stone has been heat-treated or not.
